Unanswered: Sql syntax for yesterday's business date?

Do you guys know what the syntax would be for getting yesterday's business date?

I think there is a weekday function.....I was thinking something to the effect of WEEKDAY(TODAY)-1

I need to create a parameter for yesterday's business date. Although, the syntax above returns no results.
