Unanswered: SQL Server and multiple CPU's

    Hello
If anybody can help me to understand how to configure SQL Server 2000 in order to increase the likelihood that it will execute a query in parallel using multiple CPU's?

i do not think there is any way to do that. There are several ways to do the opposite (make a query use fewer CPU's). If you absolutely need to do this, you can look into modifying cost threshold for parallelism, but this is a server-wide option that will impact everything.
