Unanswered: How to install PROC in a HP-UX server

    Hi,

How I can install proc in my HP-UX server?

    I'm using a 9.2.0.8 Oracle Enterprise Edition.

    I take a look in $ORACLE_HOME/bin for a "proc" file and I don't find it, I suppose I don't have installed proc.

    Regards,
    Jordi

Your question makes no sense to me. What kind of procedure are you looking for in bin?

You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

My question is how to install the Oracle PRO*C precompilator in an HP-UX server.

I said that I look a proc file (named proc) in $ORACLE_HOME/bin because, I read in one web if I don't find this file, I don't have PRO*C installed instead.

Did you include it when you ran the oracle installer? It is an optional product and is not loaded automatically.
