Unanswered: Using NZ function with a checkbox

How can I use NZ with a checkbox where I am doing a query by form? I have my checkbox set to triple state, but I do not know how to have it return all values if is greyed...

Is there anyway of setting this in the Nz function so that it will be true, false or could be either?

I have attached a print screen of my query and my form the

returns an error too complex to evaluate

    Thanks so much!

That will only return the no value(2 out of 3 times), the greyed state returns no data
