    Unanswered: Calling SQLLDR in Stored Procedure

    Hello Everybody,
    Can anyone tell me about how to call sqlldr in store procedure. Through research I came across exetproc. But it didn't work. Please help me out.

    It is about calling ANY executable from a stored procedure.

    Though, if your database version supports them, perhaps you'd want to research use of external tables. This feature makes it possible to access file system files (such as, for example, CSV files you'd load using SQL*Loader) directly from (PL/)SQL, just as if they were ordinary Oracle tables.

    Calling SQLLDR

    Hi LittleFoot,
    I have tried using External table. But the problem is the format of the csv uploaded will not be same always i.e. the number of columns varies.
