    Unanswered: DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acPrevious

I have a form and on it I have two buttons to use:
    DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acNext
    DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acPrevious
But need to set the field along which they move, the wizards work but moves alone a field that dose not help me. I need to use the auto number Key field.
I'ved googled but cant find the answer.
    Thanks Tim

It should always go to the next record according to the key - in this case the autonumber.

Check the order of your form in the recordsource.

Softwarematters, thanks for your response. I thought also what you wrote that, "acprevious" and "acnext" moved along the primary key field, but on my form the default movement is along the foreign key field, having no luck finding how to set to primary key field my form is based on. Tim

I had the foreign key indexed duplicates o.k(did not know this would interfere), I removed the indexing and know scrolling along primary key.
