    Unanswered: Access Escape Character?

    Hi everybody, my first post!

I'm relatively new to Access, and I'm trying to create a combo box populated with options that I've defined. I'm trying to include an option '1" Faux' but the " is causing the string to terminate early and I end up with just '1' as an option. Does anybody know the escape character for the "Row Source" property on a combo box control? Thanks!

    Escape character? Never needed one!

"1"" Faux" is perhaps the expression you need. If you post the relevant code you are using to assign the value, it might help identify the issue.

depends n how the combo boix is defined
you may need to define the number of columns, the visibility of columns (column width), these are done within the combo's propoerties box
the row osurce may instreqad need tobe spearated by a semi colon
    eg
1;"Faux";2;"Genuine";3;"Genuine Fake";4;"Honest Guv, these is real"
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

I don't know if this references anything, but it was still hilarious!

    You're welcome

And yeah, Healdem's posts often contain quite humerous "options" ^.^
