    Unanswered: Word screen in access

    Hi,

I am building a database and want to have an input field that is essentially a word interface.

I would like to have all the formatting abilities that word offers. is this possible with Access 2003?

    Any ideas otherwise?

    Thanks!

Use Word, save the file and link the file to the database? Possibly other solutions, but I have never tried it

    word in access

I thought of that. I would prefer to be able to edit the contents from within the database.

    thanks for the idea.

You may be able to embed an instance of Word in a form using OLE, but I am not quite sure how that would "connect". If it is via an OLE Object field, then I would advise against it as those fields cause more corruption and size issues than anything else.
