Unanswered: Sending form data to another form

Howdy! Here is my situation. I have an active main form open with a series of listed items in a subform. I have a command button which opens up to a new entry on another form. Once completed, it will be added to the list on the main form. However, to associate it correctly, I will need to send several active text box information to this form. So far, I have been hit with every single error message you can imagine. Simply put, I don't know how to do this.

Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

I would explicitly declare what control (on what form) you want the data from and what control (on what form) you want the data to go to. I keep this site bookmarked as a handy reference for these purposes. So something like:
    Code:
    Forms!frmName1!ctlName1 = Forms!frmName2!ctlName2
Give it a try and let us know how you get along. Cheers!

Well, I had problems with the form not being found. I think it was because the form hadn't loaded yet or there was no record. I ended up just using what you put into the after update event for each of the text boxes. Tedious, but it should work. Or I can do that when I close the form...hmm.

Anyways, there was a workaround. Thanks for the help!
