    Question Unanswered: Adding a bound field

    After creat a new form with the wizard can I add a bound field or must regenerate the form with the wizard again loosing all my form changes and code.

    Of course; add a textbox (or whatever) to the form, and change its control source to point to the appropriate field.

    That works for a field that was added in the create wizard but this is a new field that was not added when I created the form. The field is not in the control source list. If type the field name I get a #name! displayed in the field when I try the form.

    If the source of the form is a query, you may have to add the field to that as well. If a table, the new field should be seen automatically.

    You right, I just figured out I needed to add my field to the form's select statement. It works perfectly now. Now I understand how fields are bound to a form. Yayayayay
