    Unanswered: Noob working with OCCI

    I downloaded the oracle OCCI here(for VC++ 2008):
    OCCI Downloads

    I opened the zip and read the readme, extracted the files to C:\oracle\oci\lib\msvc\vc9

    added that path to my PATH system variable.
    I went into my vc++(pure Win32) I put
    #include <occi.h>

    Though the zip didn't include occi.h

    1) oraocci11.lib 843,470 bytes
    2) oraocci11.dll 540,160 bytes
    3) oraocci11.dll.manifest 616 bytes
    4) oraocci11d.lib 845,270 bytes
    5) oraocci11d.dll 705,024 bytes
    6) oraocci11d.dll.manifest 621 bytes
    7) occivc9_111060_readme.txt (this README)
    I just want to get this working.

    You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
    The average person thinks he's above average!
    For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
    Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

    You might be able to find working examples on the Companion CD or at
    Oracle Technology Network | World's Largest Community for Developers, DBAs, and Architects or at http://asktom.oracle.com
