Red face Unanswered: help with Connection string for Progress 9.1D

I am trying to create an Access Database and trying to populate a form from our ERP, Vantage by Epicor that uses Progress 9.1D. Could someone provide me with a connection string to access this information.
We have SQL active on the Progress server and a working ODBC connection setup with these settings:
    Driver: Merant 3.60 32-BIT Progress SQL92 v9.1D
    Data Source Name: Vantage
    Host Name: vtg2003
    Port Number: 6150
    Database Name: sysprogress
    User ID: MyUserID
    Password: MyPassword

Here is the information I had in a working Pass-Through query:
    SELECT Customer.CustNum, Customer.Name, Customer.Address1, Customer.Address2, Customer.Address3, Customer.City, Customer.State, Customer.Zip, Customer.Country, Customer.PhoneNum, Customer.FaxNum, Customer.EmailAddress

    FROM Pub.Customer

    ORDER BY Customer.Name

The query was slow in providing information, and I would also like to query 1 record based on supplied information.
What I would like to achieve is to be able to enter information into a text box within a form, and hit a command button to produce and populate the rest of the information.

I'm not sure what to use ADO or DOA or whatever.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
