    Unanswered: SQL Limits

I know that this is probably in the wrong place, but I know you guys, so I wanted to ask here first.

Does anyone know the limits to SQL Server and MySQL Server:

    • File Size Limits
    • Concurrent User Limits
    • Record Count Limits

And yes, I know I could search online for 20 minutes to find out, but the red wine says that someone has already found out and knows and could just tell me and save me the time!

    Cheers!

Remember that you can have n files per database. A database can be well into the peta bytes

Each connection requires a few MB of memory (I forget how many) so your concurrent connection limit is likely to be limited by addressable memory before you hit SQL's ceiling.
