    Exclamation Unanswered: How to load the language into the database

    Hi All,
    I execute this function. But it gives this error :
    ERROR: language "plpgsql" does not exist

    CREATE FUNCTION populate() RETURNS INTEGER AS '
    DECLARE
    -- Declarations
    BEGIN
    PERFORM my_function();
    END;
    ' LANGUAGE 'plpgsql';

    ERROR: language "plpgsql" does not exist
    HINT: Use CREATE LANGUAGE to load the language into the database.

    ********** Error **********

    ERROR: language "plpgsql" does not exist
    SQL state: 42704
    Hint: Use CREATE LANGUAGE to load the language into the database.


    Pls someone help me...

    Look at the Hint in the error which was returned...

    By default, scripting languages are not loaded. You need to load plpgsql before you can use it.
