Red face Unanswered: label disappears in form view but looks fine in design view

Hi, I'm currently modifying a company's database and I added an existing field, a checkbox, to a form, the form already had several other check boxes, one of which now no longer displays when in form view yet it is there in design view. I have moved labels around and there is plenty of room, i have checked properties of the label to ensure always displayed is selected but still not found the problem. Any ideas? Thanks

Perhaps its Visible property is set to No?

The only other thing I can think of is that there might be some code in the form that is setting that label's properties in a way that hides it. Perhaps do a search in the module for the form for the name of the label.

This label, did it only start disappearing after you added your checkbox or was it always invisible and you just didn't notice?

Originally there were two tick boxes (with labels) 'Pro-forma' and 'Paid', both of which appear on the form at all times. I added another next to them on the form, that is another tick box and label. Saved it, and now the Paid label and tick box no longer appear. Hope i've explained it a little clearer now!

    Solution!

This may not be of use anymore to the original poster, but after coming across the same problem and only finding forums like this where the problem is described but no solutions found, I figured I should share with the internet how I got it to work.

For me all it took was changing the "Print Data Only" checkbox (under the Page Setup ribbon tab when you're viewing the report in design view) to false. Hope that can help some other googlers who come across this page!

You can also make the background transparent. Then the label will show!
