Unanswered: No auto startup at Oracle 10g on W2k3

    Hi all,

I have installed Oracle 10g on a W2k3 VMWare. After installing, the database, which was created during installation, was running fine. But after every OS reboot I have to start the database manually.

Can anybody tell me how to configure it to start after reboot automatically?

    Thanks in advance!
    R.

Is the start mode of the service defined as "Automatically"?

Yes, all Oracle services are set to 'Automatic' and running. Also I checked the registry key ORA_<instancename>_AUTOSTART is set to TRUE. But the database doesn't start automatically.
