Unanswered: How to save a blank date in SQL using VB6

    July 24, 2009

    Hi Anyone,

In SQL, date fields are null by default. If I save a valid date in a date field, it will be saved.
But if I want to replace the date in that field (because the date there is incorrect) with blank, there is an error message that says: “Multiple-step operation generated errors. Check each status value.”

    Please help. Thanks

    Simeon

    that's not a mysql error

to store a "blank date" (which isn't possible, by the way), store a NULL instead
