Unanswered: DB2 9.5 on windows with compression

DB2 V9.5 (FP2) on Windows. Can't figure out the sytax for the backup with Compression command.

    Code:
DB2 BACKUP DATABASE UDBDWDUT TO i:\ WITH 2 BUF
FERS BUFFER 1024 COMPRESS INCLUDE LOGS PARALLELISM 1 WITHOUT PROMPTING
SQL0104N An unexpected token "PARALLELISM" was found following "LOGS".
Expected tokens may include: "END-OF-STATEMENT". SQLSTATE=42601

    Sequence of options are fixed.
    Please try to replace PARALLELISM.

if not specified, the backup is offline. with offline there is no need to include logs..

Good DBAs are not formed in a week or a month. They are created little by little, day by day. Protracted and patient effort is needed to develop good DBAs.

Thank you .. that worked great! If I want to insure that it is a Full OFFLINE backup so that no roll-forward is needed when restoring, would I simply quiesce the DB first or do I need to specify OFFLINE in the command???

Can I suggest you look into the manual! Those are very simple answers that you should be able to find there.
