Unanswered: prompted to login when creating a new Access db

    hi all,
I open Access 2002, I click the Blank Database link on th right hand side pane and I am prompted to type the name of the new database and its location. I type db1test.mdb and choose to save it in the current directory.
Right after that I am prompted for a userid and a password.

How do I get rid of this?

If I go to Tools->Security->Workgroup Administrator... I can see that apparently I belong to a workgroup - its workgroup information file is somewhere on the network .\\someMachine\...\wkgrp1.mdw

I guess there should be a setting that bypasses the reading of this file and the subsequent login prompt,
    Please help, thanks,

You have to remove the password for the Admin user to remove the security login dialog.

Or restore the system.mdw file. Whichever is easier.
