Unanswered: Change input to *** (For a low level security password)

    Hello all,

Anyone have an idea how to easily change an input to *** (like an encrypted password)? I have a form that has a password, but I'd like it to hide it when typed into the input box. This is not a serious security concern...we're just keeping the 'look-ee-loos' out of a file.

Any ideas?? I'm really hoping for something quick and easy if possible.

    Thanks!

    Susan

look at the input mask property of the control
Data tab, second line down (or at least it is in A2003/XP)
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton

I think I need to do in in the VBA controls since it comes from an input box. I tried this:
pwd = inputbox(format("Enter the password", password))

    but that isn't working

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks!

I'm not aware of "vba controls" unless this is something with Access 2007

set the input format of the relevant control(s) to be "password"
    to do that....
select the properties of the control you want to change
    select the data tab
    look for the input mask
    set it to password

failing that use the help system and look for password
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
