    Unanswered: Dynamic Data Linq to SQL problems

    Hi All,

    I am trying to create a site using Linq to SQL and need to have a search box at the top of each page relating to the data from the tables. I have found information on the ASP.net site about a Dynamic Data Filter that is supposed to do this but I can't get it to work. I have gone through each step as outlined but I only get the controls and when I try to bind them to the data I either get a non working control or an error.

    Has anyone used this and if so what might I be missing?

    Thanks!

    You'll need to provide more information, and probably some code.

    In general you should be able to use something like:

    YourEntity.Where(o => o.SomeField.Contains(yourParameter));
    oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
