Unanswered: Text to Hyperlink in Access 2000

    Hello there,

I have copied over 11800 records into a new database, unfortunately the document path field (hyperlink to a file folder on the network) was not set up as a hyperlink field in the original database (just a plain text field). Is there a quick way to make these hyperlinks work in the new database instead of editing each hyperlink and copying the 'text to display' field into the 'file name' field?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

you can make changes using an update query to a new column
you can add a prefix as required using an update query
I'd rather be riding on the Tiger 800 or the Norton
