Question Unanswered: DB2 9.5 and private memory error fix

    Hi

We have migrated our test database to DB2 9.5 fixpack 4 on windows 2008.

Prior to this our test db was on DB2 8.2.6 on windows 2000. We had an issue with 'private memory space exhausted error' - refer my prior post http://www.dbforums.com/db2/1641923-...exhausted.html. We applied the fix 'IBM - JR24363: EXCESSIVE MEMORY FRAGMENTATION IN DB2SYSCS ADDRESS SPACE ON WINDOWS CAUSES MEMORY ALLOCATION FAILURES'.

    Now the question...

Do we need to apply this fix for DB2 9.5 versions also?

    Thanks

Memory fragmentation problem fixed with this APAR does not exist in v9.5 so do not apply config parameter changes mentioned in the APAR. All of them are no longer required / discontinued. Please refer to the following links for more info:
