    Source :- SQL server 2005
    Target :- Oracle 10G

The data is migrated from SQL server 2005 to Oracle 10G.
    My Questions are as below:-
    1. How I test the target data ?
    2. Is there any tool(Free / License) available to compare the migrated data with source?
    3. How i can compare data from two different database?

    Cool Audit queries

    1. How I test the target data ?
Same as you test on the source database, use the application.

    2. Is there any tool(Free / License) available to compare the migrated data with source?
    SQL*PLus, SQL Developer, TOAD ($$$).

    3. How i can compare data from two different database?
You write a query for both db's that summarizes and counts data on key columns.

The existing unit & integration test scripts will not know or care if the data has been "migrated" or not.
    Just (re)validate the application.
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.

For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
