Red face Unanswered: Splitting a Field

I have a database that has the field " Location". This field that comes from a program store the following data,

    For example: 300:26~204:24

The locations are 300 and 204, with quantity 26 and 24, respectfully, for a total of 50 of an item.

I want to split this record at the ~ point, so that I have two differents records as followed:

    Item location qty
    xyz 300 26
    abc 204 24

If you need anything else, please let me know.

    Thank you for your assistances.

Look into parsing character separated string, probably helpful for you.
