    Unanswered: password for switchboard button

    Hi Just me again,
i need to restrict access to a section in my database.
i have a section i have called administration functions on the main switchboard, i would like to be able to have a password protection for this section, so if a person tries to enter into this area the database asked for a password.
is there a way to achieve this at all?

    Look at "DemoPasswordA2000.mdb" (attachment, zip).
    Open form and try.

    thankyou

    Thanks very much for that.
i did end up finding a work around, simply by adding an event procedure on the open of a particular form.

    the procedure goes like this.

    Code:
    Private Sub Form_Open(Cancel As Integer)
    Dim pwd As String
pwd = InputBox("What is the Password?")
    If pwd = "psswrd" Then
    MsgBox "You're In"
    Else
MsgBox "Nice Try Wise Guy, You're Out!!"
    DoCmd.Close
    End If
i got this from somewhere on this site.

is there some way i can have more than 1 possible password???
    cheers
