    Unanswered: How to simulate a transaction log full?

    Hi all,

    I would like to test the behavior of my application in case of a full transaction log.

    What would be the best way to do that with DB2 9.5?

    Thanks

    I assume you are using a test system to do this... Make the log space very small, then start making transactions and leave them open (do not commit). The log space should fill up fairly quickly.

    while(true){

    insert a record;

    If autocommit is turned on, then this will not fill up the logs.
