    Unanswered: form total rounding

I have created a very simple that reads query information and in the form footer i want to show the total.

The total displayed on each line is quantity * cost which is calculated in the query and it is display in dollars and cents.

The grand total however is rounded - no cents. I've run into this before but since the value wasn't critical to the penny i've choose to ignore but in this project the cents are important.

Field in the detail is Cost and the following is in the form footer...

    =Sum([Cost])

    Thanks in advance!

I assume you've got the =sum(cost) in a text box, then check the decimal places property of the field, I believe the default is zero.

Thanks, but yes i do - have it set to two places but the sum is always an amount of dollars, and zero cents.
