    Unanswered: Auto fill

Hi all I have a silly question. I have a database that has SQL 2005 on the back end and Access 07 on the Front end. And On MS site they say Access has short cut keys one of them is CALLED CTRL +: which remembers the previous data entrered into each field so the user doesnt have to enter the data manually they just use the short cut key. Does sql have something like that???

No, but if you are using ssms you can use the short cut keys like MS Word...to delete, move curso, undo etc...

Ok cause the thing is the users want to have the ability have jsut hit a short cut key and instead of typing the same thing over and over, they want a short cut key that will paste the data into the previous field

This is not a SQL Server question because SQL Server is not a user interface for your users. It's an Access question if that's what you develop your UI in.

Then you'll probably get more help if you ask in an Access forum.
