Exclamation Unanswered: Setup SQL Backend for Access Frontend For Dummies

I have a hosted SQL server and Access 2007 database that is getting large. I want to move the tables to SQL and use Access as the front end. I have tried several times but am missing something. Probably something very basic. I have used Access for 15 years but am stumped. Can someone list the 10 basic steps (or whatever number it is) to make this work for this dummie? Thanks
