Unanswered: Searching large Oracle database efficiently

I have a small design problem.

I need to reference 25,000 new records with a 4 million record oracle database on a daily basis. Each new record needs to check for mismatch with the 4 million record individually for two fields.

What kind of architecture design is suitable for this? I am thinking of distributed computering with a number of PCs, or use the latest server and run multithreading on it.

    Appreciate all help and advice!!!!

Provide DDL for tables & DML for sample test data along with expected/desired results with detailed explanation why & how the desired results are valid.

Unless & until we clearly understand exactly what needs to be done,
we can't begin to consider how best to implement any possible solution.

My initial reaction is that this is a tiny, tiny application for Oracle.

You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.

Sounds to me as you just need a unique index on those two columns

I agree with Ana. We are talking miniscule numbers in today's day and age.
    this is a no-problem problem.
