    Unanswered: Encode/Decode all Tables in external database

    hi,, every body

    how can i Encode all tables in externl database which was selcted from Current Databse in one time????

    just i want to select the external database to Encod all tables
    there is an Attach Files to explain more...

    Hongylover - obviously English isn't your first language. Unfortunately, your question is very difficult to understand. Also, you have spelled a lot of words wrong, and used unusual terms (there is no such thing as "encoding tables").

    Perhaps you have a colleague\ friend who speaks English and could help you with your post? Otherwise, please could you try again and explain what you mean?

    Ok - I don't know how to do this as I have never done it. Encryption is new to Access 2007.
    Googling I've found the odd article:
    Encrypting Access Databases
    How does MS Access Encryption work?

    It turns out you were right too - there is such a thing as Encoding in earlier version of Access (again, I have never done this either):

    Hopefully someone here has done this for real and can help properly.

    Eeeks,... I've never bothered to even look at encryption. Something about losing keys worries me... last thing I need is data files I can't decrypt ^^
