Unanswered: no execute option on my stored procedure?

Hi all, hope you can help with this.

I have two computers both running MS SQL server, and on one PC i can right click on a specific stored procedure and it brings up a selection of options, including "modify", "new procedure", "rename", "refresh" etc.. and at the bottom is an option called the "permissions"; This allows me to select and assign "execute" against a stored procedure.

However on the other pc, this final option ("permissions") is not there, and so cant get to the execute option and i really need to set the execute option against a number of stored procedures.

Does anyone know how i can resolve this / set execute on the SP

    regards
    MG

    Just execute it in code:
    Code:
    EXEC mySproc 'param 1 value'
The less you rely on the GUI the easier your life will become.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Sorry I was so long in a reply myself, something came up.

It had a play with this and done some digging around, it all worked in the end.

There was in issue with rights in Security > User> dbo section. Once i added exec right on that, it worked out.

    Thank you once again

    Regards
