Unanswered: Linking a sQL table in Access 2007

I am thinkning about linking a sql table to access, but the sql permissions dont apply when you link a table how do you fix that, or implement them for the users?

What kinds of permissions are you talking about?

I link SQL Server tables to Access 2007 database quite a lot.

SQL is in Mix mode and when I was using a ADP it would ask me for my user name and password, now that I have linked the tables it doesnt ask for that anymore

Weird. I haven't used ADPs but linked tables doesn't affect user-level security in MDE files... the system still prompts for a username and password if you are using an MDW.
