    Unanswered: Open selected record to a new form

    Is there any easier way you can select a record from a continuous form and view in a separate form instead of appending it to a temporary table and pulling the record from there just like what I did below:

    Code:
    strSQL = "INSERT INTO tmpRecord( tmpRecordNo ) " & _
    "VALUES (""" & Me!RecordNo & """);"

    CurrentDb.Execute strSQL, dbFailOnError

    myForm = "frmViewRecord" 'display to specified form
    myWhere = "RecordNo = '" & RecordNo & "'" 'to my unique key

    DoCmd.OpenForm myForm, , , myWhere, , , 2
    I would really appreciate the help. Thank you in advance!

    What is the point of the temporary table? You can use the same technique to open the record in a new form:

    Open a second form to the record
