    Unanswered: Remove Remove Main Report PAGE HEADER from Sub Reports

    Main Report Structure:
    Report Header
    Page Header
    Detail
    ListName Footer (Calculations (ListName is a field in the Detail Records))
    Page Footer (Empty)
    Report Footer
    NO PAGE BREAK
    1st Sub Report
    Sub Report Header (Column Names)
    Pager Header (Empty)
    Detail
    Sub Report Footer (Few calculations and explanation text boxes)

    PAGE BRAKE

    Next Sub Report etc.

    Four total one page Sub Reports

    The main report PAGE HEADER prints at the top of all of the sub reports.

    EEK . . . how do I get rid of the main report PAGE HEADER from the top of each sub report?

    Thanks much.

    Oh . . . one other thing.

    There is a blank page at the end of the last sub report.

    I've closed up all o the white space that I can.

    Is there a quick fix for this?

    Thanks.

    Supress Main Report Headers With Me.Pages = -#

    This is close but not exact as some of the page headers still remain on one of the sub reports.

    This is placed on the MAIN REPORT PAGE HEADER for which there are four sub reports.

    Private Sub PageHeaderSection_Format(Cancel As Integer, FormatCount As Integer)
    Cancel = (Me.Page = Me.Pages - 4 And Me.Pages - 3 And Me.Pages - 2 And Me.Pages - 1)
    End Sub

    If I reverse the numbers it doesn't work.

    Thanks . . . Rick

    I don't understand how the main report's page header could print anywhere but at the top of each page. That is what it is designed to do. That's why it's called a PAGE header.

    Hi StarTrecker.

    Well I guess that if I have four sub reports on the bottom of the main report the page header will print on those pages also which is exactly what is happening.

    Is there a way that . . .
    Code:
    Private Sub PageHeaderSection_Format(Cancel As Integer, FormatCount As Integer)
    Cancel = (Me.Page = Me.Pages)
    End Sub
    can cancel the main page header for the last four pages?

    I've been all over the Internet for hours trying to get thisone fixed.

    Thanks StarTrecker

    Not that I am aware of.

    You are missing the point I think. Or I am ... badly.

    The basic issue here is that you have stuff in the PAGE HEADER section which prints on every page and you don't want these things to print on the top of every page. Right?

    ... SO DON'T PUT IT IN THE PAGE HEADER!!!!!!!!!!!

    If you only want it on page 1, then put it in the REPORT header.

    I know I've been here before - BUT This works . . .
    Code:
    Private Sub PageHeaderSection_Format(Cancel As Integer, FormatCount As Integer)
    Cancel = (Me.Page = Me.Pages - 0)
    End Sub
    This effectively removes the main report page header from the last page.

    I've tried many other combinations of -numbers to remove the page header from the last FOUR pages of the main report. I've failed.

    I must be missing something stupidly simple.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks. Rick
