    Question Unanswered: Connecting ORACLE Developer with Database on the network


    I want to connect the ORACLE Developer (Reports+Forms) with ORACLE Database on the network.
    I installed the ORACLE Database on a system. Now I want to install ORACLE Developer suit on seperate system and then through LAN, I would like to connect ORACLE Developer with Database.

    Someone, please guide me how to acheive this, it is part of my project, thank you.

    Set up an entry in the TNSNAMES.ORA file in the Oracle file structure on your Forms/Reports box that points to your oracle server.

    What is OS name & version for server system?
    What is Oracle DB version to 4 decimal places?
    What version is Developer?
