    Unanswered: reorg monitoring problem

    DB2 v9.5.1 ESE on AIX v6.1
I was doing reorg of one table of the db. When it was running away too long I wanted to monitor it but all know to me queiries/commands did not show anything. Here is what I tried:

    db2pd -db PERFLOGS -reorgs

    db2 list utilities [show detail]

    db2 “select UTILITY_ID ,PROGRESS_TOTAL_UNITS ,PROGRESS_COMPLETED_UNITS ,DBPARTITIONNUM from TABLE(SNAP_GET_UTIL_PROGRESS(-1)) as T”

    db2 -x "select substr(table_name,1,20),REORG_START ,REORG_END ,REORG_STATUS,REORG_CURRENT_COUNTER,REORG_max_COUN TER from table(snapshot_tbreorg('perflogs',-1)) as gg order by table_name"

    db2 “SELECT SUBSTR(TABNAME, 1, 15) AS TAB_NAME, SUBSTR(TABSCHEMA, 1, 15) AS TAB_SCHEMA,REORG_PHASE,SUBSTR(REORG_TYPE, 1, 20) AS REORG_TYPE,REORG_STATUS, REORG_COMPLETION FROM SYSIBMADM.SNAPTAB_REORG ORDER BY TAB_NAME”

    db2 “SELECT SUBSTR(TABNAME, 1, 15) AS TAB_NAME, SUBSTR(TABSCHEMA, 1, 15) AS TAB_SCHEMA ,REORG_PHASE ,SUBSTR(REORG_TYPE, 1, 20) AS REORG_TYPE ,REORG_STATUS ,REORG_COMPLETION FROM TABLE(SNAP_GET_TAB_REORG('', -1)) AS T order by TABNAME”

    Please advise

that problem is when reorganizing indexes. When reorganising a table then all these queiries/command do show reorg info.

So the question is how can I monitor index reorg process? Thanks in advance

The notify log should contain some information about index reorg. I don't think the commands/queries you listed show index reorg info.
