try copy only folders, but not copy a config files.
first on new machne create all users, roles etc.. which exist on crashed bucked.

in future use 64 bit OS only linux/unix or eventual mac-os server and 64 bit database.

linux -> my favorit is debian (amd64)
unix -> my favorit is freebsd (amd64)

tested postgresql on debian 64 bit, and postgresql is faster about 40-60 % related on windows.
