    Unanswered: where the file store in RMAN

    Hi,
    I have below configure for RMAN
    RMAN> show all;

    RMAN configuration parameters are:
    CONFIGURE RETENTION POLICY TO REDUNDANCY 1; # default
    CONFIGURE BACKUP OPTIMIZATION OFF; # default
    CONFIGURE DEFAULT DEVICE TYPE TO DISK; # default
    CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP OFF; # default
    CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP FORMAT FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO '%F'; # default
    CONFIGURE DEVICE TYPE DISK PARALLELISM 1; # default
    CONFIGURE DATAFILE BACKUP COPIES FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO 1; # default
    CONFIGURE ARCHIVELOG BACKUP COPIES FOR DEVICE TYPE DISK TO 1; # default
    RMAN configuration has no stored or default parameters
    RMAN configuration has no stored or default parameters
    CONFIGURE MAXSETSIZE TO UNLIMITED; # default
    CONFIGURE SNAPSHOT CONTROLFILE NAME TO '/opt/oracle/9.2.0/dbs/snapcf_GCOTA.f'; # default


    IT is set to disk .
    So, where is the file stored , in which directory ?? how can I figure it out ???

    You need to tell it the location using the "FORMAT" option:
    Code:
    CONFIGURE CHANNEL DEVICE TYPE DISK FORMAT '/my_backup_dsk/for_sid/ORCL/orcl_%t_s%s_p%p.dbf';

    default is normally this parameter:
    db_recovery_file_dest
