    Unanswered: Calculated Field to sort Last and First Name

    Hi all I need to create a calculated field that would sort by the last name, but I'm unsure how to do that. Because right now its not sorting at all

    =Fields!Student_Last_Name.Value &"," & Fields!Student_First_Name.Value

    that don't look like sql to me.
    “If one brings so much courage to this world the world has to kill them or break them, so of course it kills them. The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” Earnest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms.

    Never mind I got it I made it into a calculated field in Reporting services. Here is what I did View>>Datasets>>Select top node of dataset .>>Add >>>then Select Calculated field Radiobutton and enter the Expression
    Fullname==Fields!Student_Last_Name.Value &"," & Fields!Student_First_Name.Value
    and I used that in the report for sorting. worked like a charm
