    Unanswered: FORMS : update lookup table

    My FORM is used to populate table ‘A’ via data entry.
    Table ‘A’ consists of 3 fields : ‘X’ ‘Y’ and ‘Z’.
    I use a lookup against table ‘B’ for field ‘X’ when entering values.
    At the moment, table ‘B’ only has values ‘a’, ‘b’, and ‘c’ present.
    I have “Limit To List” set to “N” in the filed definition.

    Can I update table ‘B’ if the value I enter (e.g. ‘d’)
    doesn’t currently exist in table ‘B’ ?

    I am new to this producst, and am self-taught.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Use the combo's Not In List event to insert into table 'B';

    I'm sure there are plenty of posts (search the forum!) detailing this but here is a link to an example:-
