    Unanswered: Enforce Password Policy

I am creating a named SQL Server Express Instance on Windows Vista and creation of instance is failing as per the Password Policy is enforced.

Is there any command line switch using which I can turn off the password policy?

On CREATE LOGIN statement use CHECK_POLICY = OFF...[edited] I haven't noticed that you're talking about installation, not creation of logins. Well, in this case you're probably talking about SA password. In my opinion, even if there is a switch, you still need to use a strong password, let alone not even enable SQL Security Authentication option at the time of installation.
