Red face Unanswered: Database does not come back online-URGENT

    Hello!
I think I really messed up!
I permanently deleted a secondary transaction log from the file system and cannot get the database back online.
Is there a way to force it back even without the file that's missing.
I did not backup the database (!).

    I'll appreciate any suggestions,

    Monica

I am not a DBA, but I would try sp_detach_db and sp_attach_single_file_db. The first might not work at all.
“If one brings so much courage to this world the world has to kill them or break them, so of course it kills them. The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially. If you are none of these you can be sure it will kill you too but there will be no special hurry.” Earnest Hemingway, A Farewell To Arms.
