    Unanswered: MsAccess2007 Relationships

    Hi there,

I am trying to create an invoicing database, where i have already imported the sales-orders excel file and created the orders table. I want it to generate invoices picking all the ordered-items under one single orderID. As in my excel sheet different ordered items are shown in different rows but with same orderID.
I'll be very thankful if someone cld help me out quickly please.

    Regards,
    Tanya

in a spreadsheet you have virtually free from to stuff data where ever you want
in a database the date needs to be stored in a structured manner
part ofthe that process is to make your data design 'normalised', essentially remove any repeating data and pushing it into another table

iot sounds like your data is not normalised, and that is the route cause of your problems
