    Unanswered: If then else statement using a MID function look-up

    Field name=Profit Center
    The data within "Profit Center" looks like:U373C,U454A
    I am Looking for the second number in the string “3”.
    If it has a "3" as the second character in the string, then I want “Whs”, otherwise “Cust”

    My IIF then else statement that is not correct:

    General Ledger: IIf((MID([Profit Center],2,like ("3"),"Whs","Cust")
