    Unanswered: Should be RSSD replicated?

    Hi!

I have a basic replication environment in one direction:

    - Server1 ASE with database A
    - Replication server
    - Server2 ASE with database A'

Db A@Server1 is replicated to db A'@Server2. The whole db is set to be replicated.

RSSD database is in server1. My problem is that syslogs in RSSD begins to fill up bit a bit. I did a "dbcc gettrunc" and it is marked for replication:

    1> dbcc gettrunc
    2> go
    ltm_truncpage ltm_trunc_state db_rep_stat gen_id dbid
    dbname lti_version
    ------------- --------------- ----------- ----------- ------
    ------------------------------ -----------
    73484 1 7 0 4
    REP_DB_RSSD 0

I don't know if this is necessary or if somebody has made an error setting the truncation point to valid.

Somebody knows if RSSD db must be set to replicate in a replication environment?

    Thank you in advance!!

    Hi ,

In your setup RSSD is not required to set for replication as your setup is having just one replication server. Its good to setup RSSD for replication there in there are 2 replication servers are involved.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers!
