Unanswered: Newbie - ComboBox row or column???

My first posting - pls be kind

Please could somebody tell me how to display the data VERTICALLY in my ComboBox not HORIZONTALLY?

I have successfully created a simple ComboBox by choosing "Value List" and manually inputting data in my "Row Source". the list displays the data correctly eg. VERTICALLY

    eg.

    Option 1
    Option 2
    Option 3
    Option 4

However, I have created another ComboBox by linking it to a Query. But the data only shows in HORIZONTALLY. And only displays the data if i increase the column count.

    eg.

    Option A / Option B / Option C / Option D

What is the SQL of the query? I suspect your values are fields rather than records.

your combo data layout will be identical to the query or table that you use as the source

Thanks very much for your feedback guys. Your replies made me realise I was using a column instead of a record. With a lot of fiddling about I managed to resolve it.

    Thanks again.
