    Question Unanswered: db2look from DB2 9.7 to DB2 9.5

    Hi,

    I have a db2look output from DB2 v9.7 and it has statements that I can't run on DB2 9.5, any suggestions what should I use instead these statements...

    Code:
    GRANT DBADM WITHOUT DATAACCESS WITHOUT ACCESSCTRL ON DATABASE  TO GROUP "ADMIN   " ;

    GRANT DATAACCESS ON DATABASE  TO GROUP "ADMIN   " ;

    GRANT ACCESSCTRL ON DATABASE  TO GROUP "ADMIN   " ;

    GRANT DBADM WITHOUT DATAACCESS WITHOUT ACCESSCTRL ON DATABASE  TO GROUP "BANKSGIX" ;

    GRANT DATAACCESS ON DATABASE  TO GROUP "BANKSGIX" ;

    GRANT ACCESSCTRL ON DATABASE  TO GROUP "BANKSGIX" ;

    You will have to remove them and grant access in some other way. For example DATAACCESS grants the authority to:

    • Select, insert, update, delete, and load data
    • Execute any package
    • Execute any routine (except audit routines)

    You can grant these privileges individually in 9.5, although you will have write a script to grant to each specific table using the list of tables in syscat.tables. Load is granted at the database level.

    You can grant to the same groups in 9.5 (Users and Groups must be defined at the OS level).
