Unanswered: Fresh SQL 2008 Server Install which drive?

I am going to install SQL Server 2008 on a brand new Windows Server 2008 box. SQL is the only thing that will be on this box.

    C Drive 80Gb
    D Drive 1Tb

I thought the best setup would be to put the database engine on C drive and all the databases and logs on D drive.

Is that the best setup for performance?

I would put everything on D:, and leave C: for O/S and Paging, also depends if it is a separate drive or just a partition using the same controller and spindle.
